Removal

1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

   Refer to: Engine Cooling System Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
   

1. Refer to: Cooling System Draining and Vacuum Filling (303-03B Engine Cooling - 2.0L EcoBoost (184kW/250PS) - MI4, General Procedures).
   

1. NOTE: Make sure the accessory drive belt is positioned so coolant can not contaminate the belt.

1. NOTICE: Cover the A/C belt to prevent coolant contamination of the belt.

   Completely cover the A/C belt with waterproof plastic.
   

Installation

1. Material : Motorcraft® Orange Antifreeze/Coolant Concentrated / VC-3-B (WSS-M97B44-D)
   Torque : 10 Nm

1. Remove the waterproof plastic from the A/C belt.
   

1. Torque : 20 Nm
