Selector Lever Cable Adjustment
WARNING:
Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure
to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Apply the parking brake.
-
Using the diagnostic scan tool select the cable adjustment mode.
-
NOTE:

Move the slide to the left.
-
While holding the slide, position the adjuster lock upward.

NOTE:
Verify
is illuminated on the
.

Rotate the manual control lever clockwise until it stops.
-
Rotate the manual control lever counterclockwise one detent.
-
NOTE:
To prevent selector lever cable damage, do not apply force to the selector lever cable between the manual control lever and
the selector lever cable bracket.

NOTE:
After locking the adjuster, pull back on the selector lever cable end to make sure it is securely installed.

Press the

Clear the DTCs.
-
Shift the transmission through the ranges starting in
, then
, then

and then back to
.

Check for DTCs.

Disconnect the scan tool.
