For direct (3,5,R) clutch operation,

Direct (3,5,R) clutch does not apply	Solenoid body filter blocked to Shift Solenoid B (SSB)	CLEAN or INSTALL a new solenoid body filter screen. REFER to: Solenoid Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation).
	Shift Solenoid B (SSB) is mechanically stuck OFF	INSTALL a new solenoid body. REFER to: Solenoid Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation). PERFORM the Transmission Strategy Download, REFER to: Transmission Strategy Download (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, General Procedures).
	Direct (3,5,R) clutch regulator valve stuck OFF	REMOVE the main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation). DISASSEMBLE, CLEAN and INSPECT the direct (3,5,R) clutch regulator valve. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation). If bore or valve is damaged, INSTALL a new main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation).
	Shift Solenoid B (SSB) SIG, C35R, C35R SUP hydraulic circuits blocked/leaking	REMOVE the main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation). DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the main control valve body and separator plate passages for debris/blockage. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation). CLEAN as necessary.
	REV SUPPLY/DRIVE 2 to C35R SUP check ball missing/damaged	REMOVE the main control valve body. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation). INSPECT the check ball missing/damage. REFER to: Main Control Valve Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation).
	C35R supply hydraulic circuit blocked or leaking	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the transmission cover and support tower passages for debris/blockage. REFER to: Transmission (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Disassembly). CLEAN as necessary.
	Rear planetary sun gear and shell assembly	INSPECT the sun gear and shell for wear and damage. INSTALL new components necessary. REFER to: Transmission (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Disassembly).
	Direct (3,5,R) clutch friction plates	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the direct (3,5,R) clutch friction and steel plates. INSTALL new components as necessary. REFER to: Transmission (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Disassembly).
	Direct (3,5,R) clutch piston seal leakage	INSTALL a new direct (3,5,R) clutch piston and seals. REFER to: Transmission (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Disassembly).
Direct (3,5,R) clutch always applied	Solenoid body filter seal damaged at Shift Solenoid B (SSB)	INSTALL a new solenoid body filter screen. REFER to: Solenoid Body (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Removal and Installation).
	Shift Solenoid B (SSB) mechanically stuck ON	INSTALL a new solenoid body. If bore or valve is damaged, INSTALL a new main control valve body. 	Shift Solenoid B (SSB) SIG, C35R, C35R SUP hydraulic circuits blocked/leaking	REMOVE the main control valve body. DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the main control and separator plate passages for leakage. 	Rear planetary sun gear and shell assembly	INSPECT the sun gear and shell for damage that would prevent free rotation. INSTALL new components as necessary. REFER to: Transmission (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Disassembly).
	Direct (3,5,R) clutch friction plates	DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the direct (3,5,R) clutch friction and steel plates. INSTALL new components as necessary. REFER to: Transmission (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Disassembly).
	Direct (3,5,R) clutch piston return spring	INSPECT the return spring for damage. INSTALL new components as necessary. REFER to: Transmission (307-01A Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F50, Disassembly).

	Shift Solenoid B (SSB) mechanically sticking	INSTALL a new solenoid body. DISASSEMBLE, CLEAN and INSPECT the direct (3,5,R) clutch regulator valve. If bore or valve is damaged, INSTALL a new main control valve body. 	Direct (3,5,R) clutch boost valve stuck ON	REMOVE the main control valve body. If bore, valve or spring is damaged, INSTALL a new main control.
