1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
   

1. Refer to: Air Cleaner (303-12A Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 3.7L Duratec (227kW/301PS), Removal and Installation).
   

1. Torque : 7 Nm

1. 1. Torque : 12 Nm
   2. Torque : 6 Nm

1. Torque : 48 Nm

1. Refer to: Starter Motor Drive Gear and Flywheel Ring Gear Inspection (303-06A Starting System - 3.7L Duratec (227kW/301PS), General Procedures).
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
