Transmission Support Insulator - Vehicles Built Up To: 03-June-2013

Removal

  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Refer to: Battery Tray (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Removal and Installation).
    2. Refer to: Upper Intake Manifold (303-01A Engine - 3.7L Duratec (227kW/301PS), Removal and Installation).
  1. Special Tool(s) : 303-1529 Lift Eye, Engine
  1. Special Tool(s) : 303-1245 Engine Lift Eye
  1. Special Tool(s) : 303-F072 Support Bar, Engine , 303-1454 Engine Spreader Bar , 303-1529 Lift Eye, Engine , 303-1245 Engine Lift Eye

Installation

  1. NOTE: Set the mount and roll restrictor in place and loosely install the bolt.

    Material : Threadlock 262 / TA-26 (WSK-M2G351-A6)
  1. Material : Threadlock 262 / TA-26 (WSK-M2G351-A6)
    Torque : 30 Nm
    1. Torque : 63 Nm
    1. Torque : 80 Nm
    1. Loosely install.
      Material : Threadlock 262 / TA-26 (WSK-M2G351-A6)

    1. NOTE: To install the roll restrictor in the correct orientation, tighten the bolt until the roll restrictor is fixed in the mount and cannot rotate, using an open end wrench to clear the transmission fluid cooler tube.

  1. Remove the 3 nuts and the bolt.
  1. Torque : 116 Nm
    1. Torque : 63 Nm
    1. Torque : 80 Nm
  1. Torque : 150 Nm
    1. Torque : 90 Nm
    1. Torque : 11 Nm
  1. Install the following items:
    1. Refer to: Upper Intake Manifold (303-01A Engine - 3.7L Duratec (227kW/301PS), Removal and Installation).
    2. Refer to: Battery Tray (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Removal and Installation).
